Our History

Business Law Centers began to develop an individual identity after the owner determined that focusing specifically upon civil law was opportune and comfortable for the company, but there were many more legal opportunities to pursue. In 2008, Novy-Broderick found that much of Maine above the state capital of Augusta was vastly underserved in business law services, so the company provided additional legal services such as: collections and bankruptcies, non-profit and profit corporations, estate planning, guardianship, and trusts. Over time, Business Law Centers has added additional services, including: Elder care, the establishment that peaceful divorces or separations are possible, small and medium sized credit unions can get assistance with closing up the balance sheets for tax purposes or setting up ventures, legal guidance to the poverty-stricken individuals of Maine is available, and that for even prospective paralegal students who are looking for experience, all of those services can be found at Business Law Centers.

  • Business Law Centers operates from 9:00AM – 4:00PM Monday thru Friday, with appointment, emergency, and meeting options available for Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.
  • During holidays the company may close or make specific arrangements that do not follow the regular hours.
  • Attorney Novy-Broderick is always available to get back to clients if not in the office.
